  • Internet or other network activity – browsing and search history, interactions with our site, app, or ads.

  • Geolocation data – general location or movements.

1.2 When We Collect Personal Data

We collect Personal Data:

  • Directly from you, for example when you:

    • Register or create an account.

    • Purchase products (payment data is processed by Shopify; we do not store card numbers). See Shopify’s Terms of Service and Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

    • Contact customer support.

    • Complete forms, request newsletters, enter contests/surveys, or post reviews.

  • Automatically, when you use our Services:

    • General activity on the site; anonymized session identifiers.

    • Approximate location for features like localized content or ads (you can manage device location settings).

    • Traffic metrics (pages viewed, visit frequency, timestamps, transaction events).

    • Email interaction data (opens, clicks, forwards).

    • Device/Browser details and IP address.

    • Referring/exit pages.

5. Social Media Features & Widgets

Our Services may include social features (e.g., “Like” buttons) that allow sharing actions on our site to other platforms and may collect your IP address and the page you’re visiting. These features are governed by the privacy policies of the respective platforms.


6. “Do Not Track” Signals

Our Services do not change practices in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.


7. Controlling Your Personal Data

  • You may withdraw consent or object at any time by emailing happiness@designberries.com. (If you withdraw consent, some Services may no longer be available.)

  • Public content you post may identify you to others.

  • Our Services may link to third-party sites. Review their privacy policies.

  • Manage your email preferences using unsubscribe links in our emails or by contacting us.

  • Blocking cookies may impair some site features.


8. Data Retention & Account Termination

You can close your account by contacting happiness@designberries.com. After closure, we stop collecting new data but may retain certain information as permitted/required by law and for legitimate business needs.

You can update or correct account information through your account or by contacting us. To request deletion, email happiness@designberries.com.

Retention periods vary by purpose and legal requirements. We may retain anonymized data for analytics.


9. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from them.


10. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures aligned with industry standards to protect Personal Data during transmission and storage.


11. Location of Data & International Transfers

Designberries is based in the United States. Personal Data may be processed by cloud providers (currently Shopify). Data will be processed in the U.S. under this Policy and applicable U.S. laws.


12. EEA Users – GDPR

EEA users can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of Personal Data via account tools or by contacting us.


13. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

13.1 Shine the Light

California residents may request details about our disclosures of Personal Data to third parties for direct marketing. Email happiness@designberries.com.

13.2 Deletion Rights

You may request we delete Personal Data collected from you.

13.3 Access & Data Portability

Upon a verified request covering the prior 12 months, we will provide details of data collected, sources, purposes, and disclosures.

13.4 Personal Data “Sales” – Opt-Out/Opt-In

California residents over 16 may opt out of “sales” of Personal Data at any time by emailing happiness@designberries.com.

13.5 Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA/CPRA rights.

13.6 Submitting Requests
